Re-installing the BEA software to enable 128 bit encryption.
If BEA was originally installed without a valid license.bea file that includes 128 bit SSL encryption, you will need to re-install the WebLogic software in order to include the full strength domestic encryption software. After you have received this license from BEA, the following steps can be performed.
This document is intended merely as a checklist. If you need specific instructions or somebody to walk you through the processes, contact Customer Support at C2GSupport@hteinc.com
1. Copy all SSL key components to " [drive letter]:/bea/c2gdomain/common/SSL/ "
1.5 . Copy c2gdomain to safe location.
2. Determine current version of BEA. Current version of Java.
3. Stop WebLogic Service.
4. Run uninstallService Command.
5. Uninstall Weblogic completely.
6. Remove shortcuts from taskbar.
6.5 . Delete all under " [drive letter]:/bea ". PLACE correct " license.bea " in " [drive letter]:/bea " .
7. Re-start computer.
8. Re-install WebLogic - use exact same settings as during initial install.
9. Use wizard to create c2gdomain. ( Use SSL port 443 ).
10. Verify install successful.
11. Verify Service is set up correctly - including logging.
12. Verify current versions of BEA and Java before copying old c2gdomain into new installation.
13. Copy old c2gdomain in at [drive letter] :/bea/c2gdomain
14. Run console, verify programs are in place.
15. Test System.
