Verify the installation was successful
After the installation process is complete, you may want to stop and re-boot the server. This is not normally required, but for some operating system configurations, may be necessary.
In order to verify that the installation of the WebLogic server and domain was completed successfully, we will want to start the Administrators console using a standard Web browser. First, however, we will want to make sure that the Service is running.
Starting the c2gdomain
To start the c2gdomain, click Start>>Programs>>BEA WebLogicPlatform 8.1>>UserProjects>>c2gdomain>>StartWeblogic

This will open a DOS command window and start the BEA WebLogic application. You will be asked to enter the Administrators username and password. Note that when entering the password, your keystrokes will not be shown.
The application should start in a few seconds with the message that "c2gdomain is Started in RUNNING MODE".
IMPORTANT NOTE: If another service (like IIS) is set to use the same port ( 80 ) that we set for the WebLogic server, the service will not start successfully.
Now, open a standard Web browser and type the following in the address field. " http://localhost/console". As shown below.
