Begin the installation Process
NOTE 1 ( critical ): For clients that plan on using 128 bit encryption SSL, it is REQUIRED that you have a valid license.bea file that includes 128bit encryption enabled. This file should be located in "[drive letter]:/bea" . If this file is not in place before the install, you will end up having to re-install when you are ready to configure SSL.
NOTE 2: We recommend that the Administrator create a cick2gov user that has full administrator rights on the server. All subsequent installation, configuration and maintenance should be done using this user ONLY.
Place the disk labeled BEA Weblogic 8.1 , Windows, 32 bit - Solaris 8 & 9 into the servers CD drive.
This disk employs the standard Windows auto-run feature. The installation process should begin automatically. If it does, click HERE. If the auto-run feature for this server has been disabled, you will need to start the process manually.
Starting the install process Manually
Open the command window by navigating to Start > Run on your windows task bar.
When the run window appears type the following:
<SERVERS CD DRIVE > :\weblogic_platform810\server810_win32.exe
For this example, our CD drive letter is D. ( see below )

Click the "OK" button when you are ready.
