 To generate pins you have two options available. Generating pins by the Click2Gov Administrative Console or automating the process on your AS/400. In order to automate the Pin Generation procedure for the Click2Gov Utilities application, please follow the instructions outlined below. 

 

 

  1. From an iSeries (AS/400) command line, enter “ADDJOBSCDE” and press the F4 key to prompt.

  1. The starting screen for this program will look like the display below.

  1. You can either enter the following on the line Command to Run line:

       CALL PGM(HTEPGM/UTC2G009) PARM('HTEPGM' 'HTEDTA' 'K2' ' ' ' ' ' ' 'A' ' ' ' ' ' ')

    OR

    Type in the Job Name and the word CALL on the following line and press the F4 key as displayed below.


    Note: if you typed in the entire CALL PGM line (above), you can skip to step #8.

  1. Fill out the Call Program screen as follows (with a plus sign in the last paramter line) and press the Enter key to be able to enter more parameters.

  1. Then fill out the additional parameters as follows and press the Page Down key.

  1. And finally the last few of additional parameters as follows:

  1. Press the Enter key a couple of times (don't do this fast) to get back to the Add Job Schedule Entry screen.


  2. Press the Tab or shift-Tab key until you reach the Frequency field and fill out the screen as follows (notice the plus sign in the line after *MON):

  1. Continue filling in the screen as outlined below, and press the F10 key for Additional Parameters. This will open up another screen to allow you to enter in the other days of the week. Press the Enter key when you are done entering those to return to the previous screen and fill out the scheduled time field:

    Each of Parameters (specified above) are defined as follows:

Parameter 1 = HTE Core Library(6 positions: 'HTEPGM')
Parameter 2 = HTE Core DataSet(6 positions: 'HTEDTA')
Parameter 3 = HTE Application Code(2 positions: 'K2')
Parameter 4 = Additional Library(10 positions: Usually blank for Production)
Parameter 5 = Suffix(10 positions: Usually blank for Production)
Parameter 6 = HTE Environment(4 positions: Usually blank for Production)
Parameter 7 = Status(1 position: ‘A’ for Active Accounts or Blank for All Accounts)
Parameter 8 = Count(6 positions: Key as Blank)
Parameter 9 = Error Code(6 positions: Key as Blank)
Parameter 10 = Error Message(60 positions: Key as Blank)


  1. Press the F10 Key for Additional Parameters and then the Page Down key to enter the following information:

Note: The Job Description must contain a valid Library List, which contains HTEGPL, or HTEPGM for Naviline, as appropriate.

  1. Press the Enter key to complete this process.
    As specified above, this job will run on a daily schedule (Monday through Friday), at 6AM.
