iSeries Setup

If you do already have a previous version of Click2GovCX installed at your site, but do not currently accept payments, please skip to step five.

The Click2Gov Payment Engine version 3.0 is currently only available for Click2GovCX. If you already have Click2GovCX, this requires an upgrade to your Click2GovCX installation to version 4.0 in order to make use of the new features and functionality.

There are numerous steps to complete before beginning the installation process:

1. If you currently accept payments via Click2GovCX, please settle all authorized transactions with VitalNet using the Settlement functionality provided in the Click2Gov Console.
2. Stop the existing CX payment engine if you currently accept payments via Click2GovCX.
3. If you have a previous version ofClick2GovCX installed, please use the BEA Weblogic Admin Console to stop the application.
4. If you currently accept payments via Click2GovCX, there are numerous files that should be backed up on the iSeries prior to installing the new payment engine. These files include:
   • DETAIL516 - Stores processing information for clients using VitalNet's VirtualNet SSL gateway for processing transactions.
     
   • BATCH_HIST - Stores information pertaining to the delayed capturing of authorized transactions.
     
   • COUNTER - Used in generating transaction numbers and batch number.
     

   These files should be found in the C2G[AppCode]PMT library (i.e. C2GCXPMT).
   

5. If you have not already stopped the web application, please do so now. The web application directory and its configuration directory should be backed up on the web server as well. The directory to back up is:
   • [Drive Letter]:\bea\c2gdomain\applications\Click2Gov[AppCode] - For example, C:\bea\c2gdomain\applications\Click2GovCX

After backing up the appropriate files and directories, you are ready to install.
